In my music class recently, a girl did a presentation on Pearl Jam and she played a song that I'm trying to find. The guitar playing in the beginning reminded me a lot of Hendrix's "Little Wing." Anyone have any ideas what it is?

I am a first soprano and a high school sophomore. On Thursday, May 3, there will be auditions held at my school for the Chamber Ensemble. Usually, only about 9 girls make it into the Chamber Ensemble, and room for first sopranos is limited because they sing a lot of 3 and 4 part music. For the audition, the director would like us to prepare a 1-2 minute song to sing a capella and then do some basic sight-singing. Basically, we can sing anything, but I really don't think I stand a good chance of getting into the choir without the right audition song. Any suggestions?

Just after September 11th, 2001 happened, there was a song released on the radio that was a tribute (or in memoriam) of the victims of that tragic day. I'm pretty sure it was a special version of "Amazed" by Lonestar, but I'm not for sure. Basically it had the song playing and in the pauses a little girl was talking to her father. Her father had died in the tragedy and she was just talking to him like he was there. Telling him about her life. Asking when he's coming home.

I would like to know what the EXACT name of the song is and if it is available for purchase or download and where?

Can anybody help me?

Music thesedays is pretty hit and miss. My personal favourite is The Streets' 'Original Pirate Material' as it was a creative work of art that defined a generation. I also loved Muse's 'Absolution', Coldplay's 'Rush of Blood to the Head' and Arcade Fire's 'Funeral'.

The Killers' debut album was also pretty good, but the follow up 'Sam's town' left alot to be desired.

Its called "This Voice", I am looking for someone who has it. Its out of print, very rare, from 2004. It has "Everything to Me" on it and "Cry". I have exhausted all my efforts into looking for this album, I have been searching for nearly 2 and a half years. If someone has the cd, please email me or let me know. I need these songs. Thanks so much for the time.
