well in concert band we have this song called raising dragons. it is amazing there are so many moving parts in it, both emotionally and playing it. the beginning of the song starts of really strong and loud with all these sixlet runs type things i dont know how to describe it. we do a lot of that stuff then all of a sudden here comes a flute solo that i really soft and once again it goes to the loud moving parts. later on in the song the flutes and clarinets do these a bunch of grace notes and eight note runs. then they go into a triple run type thing and is all over. later on there is a "battle" with different types of drums. this whole song is based on the life of a japanesse general or something i love the song.

Sorry. This is a cheesy answer. Even though it's not the best song musically I still get chills every single time I hear the national anthem, The Star Spangled Banner.

Sweet Lullaby (the ambient mix) by Deep Forest

It's a song about a sibling singing to their younger sibling about the loss of their parents. I've never heard anything quite as sad or beautiful in my life.

There's a really small clip...nowhere near the real beauty of the song...

Handel's Messiah! When he played for the King for the first time. The king was so moved he gave a standing ovation after the hallelujah chorus. And that's why whenever you go see it performed everyone stands and applauds after the chorus well before the performance is over.
