I'm currently starting a DJ service, and need to complete my classic rock section with AC/DC. Now the problem is there are 100s of AC/DC albums, and I am looking for the most bang for my buck. Obviously, there are songs that people will not request, But I'm looking for the best combination of cds to add to my collection. (They could make it easier by being able to buy the songs individually on napster or itunes etc. but of course it never works out that way).

Theres more like 20 or 25 albums and many of them are noyt stand alone albums, but same songs done "live versions" and like greatest hits. Ballbreaker, Dirty Deeds, Who Made Who, Back In Black, For Those About To Rock We Salute You, some to start with. For me you cant go wrong with any. They are one of the best rock bands ever!!!

It's important to hear AC/DC both with Bon Scott as lead singer and with Brian Johnson as lead singer. There are two albums to begin you collection with ...

Highway to Hell - The last AC/DC album prior to Bon Scott's death, just as the band was poised to explode in the US. The title track, epic.

Back in Black - Brian Johnson replaces Bon Scott. The band's biggest chart hit "You Shook Me All Night Long". Also "Hells Bells" and "Shoot to Thrill"

After that (I prefer the Bon Scott stuff), I'd go with Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (title track, "Rocker", "Ride On") and High Voltage ("It's a Long Way to the Top", "TNT", "She's Got B*lls").

if you were a good dj that was with the times, you wouldn't be playing cd's. what is this 1991? download individual songs and use your computer to dj. there are hundreds of djing software programs for your computer. no one plays cd's anymore. you'd be have more clout if you were still spinning vinyls. but cd's? no way. it's 2007. use the technology that is around
but the only ac/dc song that is played at weddings.......
shook me all night long

I would put High Voltage as my second favorite behind Highway. The worst Bon Scott is better than the best Brian Johnson.

So many good ones. But Jailbreak is the best one that didn't really make it big on to the radio.
