Why do most Rappers need an entourage compared to other music performers like R & B artists, Jazz artists, Rock stars, Country artists, Latin singers, etc.

male singer...its about a man that had gone off to war and come back a different person...his brother remarks on the fact that he seems different and the singer said that he is, he was in a war...man also takes pleasure in sunrises and so forth..sorry to be so vague, but I've only heard it once!

Can someone recommend some good funk bass bands/bassists? Preferably fairly new stuff, but anything will do!
I already listen to Level 42.

partial lyrics:
with the champagne floating around-
my defences slowing down, -
baby I am under fire -
he's switching my desire -
aaaaah can't u see I'm under fire... -
switching with desire -
up in the hunger aaaaaah aaaaah aaaaaah -
you got me under FIRE! etc,
I got this song after a recent trip to Peru, don't know the name of the author nor the song although "Under fire" seems logical. However there is no such title under every search I could think of, so does anyone know who sings this cool tune?

Thanks.

I have always loved jazz funk but never really distinguished it from R&B as a separate distinct genre, as there is quite a bit of overlap. I would like to start going to gigs and hearing new artists showcase. Can you recommend any LONDON gig venues (other than Jazz Cafe, Camden)?

I am mainly into classic rock and metal. My favourite bands of all time are 1)GnR 2) Thin Lizzy 3) Aerosmith 4)Van Halen 5) Led Zeppelin. I love metal bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden, W.A.S.P, Queensryche, Rhapsody Of Fire too...
I just see screaming as talentless and sonically horrible. Dave Mustaine from Megadeth agrees with me incidentally.

I think its an old 70's anti-Vietnam war song. Its sung by a guy and these are the only parts I can remember:

"Sing with us...Sing for the years...Sing for the left....Sing for the Rear"

I have tried searching on Yahoo! and couldn't find it. Thats all I can ever remember or understand from it.

I heard a crappy remix with eminem once, but I want the original, not the one w/ eminem.
