Someone older than me told me Sepultura and Slayer play power metal, but, from what I know, power metal is the genre bands like Gamma Ray and Blind Guardian play, which are pretty far from the first two. Was that person wrong or did 'power metal' mean something else in the past? If so, why has it changed its meaning?

I heard this song on a pirate radio station about 10 years ago, i only know a few of the lines, it is a female vocalist and a male rapper, it starts with piano and rain in the background, first line is
"Youve been more than good to me
give me all that i can need
there's a little thing you do , baby"

(Then later on in the song she sings)

"Cos every time i say i love you its from inside
and my heart is forever

Thats why i love you baby

I'm an unsigned artist and I have seen there are now many ways of getting your music on sale on the web. I with a few that sell directly from their web-site but these do not seem to get many sales, for any musician. There are some that distribute them across to Napster, ITunes and all the top music downloading hosts and you keep all the money. But which is the best and are there any in the UK?

They performed it on MTV Goes Gold, the one where they count down to the new year 2007. Not Love Like Winter, the other one they sang. I don't know any of the lyrics.

The real fans can't get tickets for gigs because the touts get in there first and then procede to sell them on ebay for 3/4 times there value. I think they should introduce a system where they print names on tickets or you should have to show some kind of receipt when entering a gig.

I know i've just answered my own question but i think it's getting beyond a joke!!!!.

Anyone know the name of the song that has the lyrics "make it on my own" in it. Its not the Offspring song "The End Of The Line" or The Used "On My Own". i was in a nightclub a few weeks back and they played the song "all night long" originally by lionel richie ..but it wasn't him. someone else was singing it.
i didnt know another artist had covered it.
