How big are your hands? Smaller hands should try thin and larger thick.
I use ESP electric guitars and Duncan acoustics.

Depends on your hands... you may have huge hands and thick fingers. Check out the Santana PRS the neck is super fat. They all the Les Paul neck the "tapper" because it's suppose to be comfotable. I play Carvin, and their necks are thin--almost as thin as daisy rock guitars (which are even thinner because they're meant for girls with smaller hands). Best advice is to try the guitar... If the neck is too thick or to thin it may not prevent you from playing, but it will become uncomfortable eventually, you may even hurt your wrist (after many years) Like everyone says, try them our and find what fits you best.

Its a matter of personal choice. Some players prefer a thick neck, others thin. You have to try several guitars of different types to learn what you prefer. You also must consider the width of the fretboard and the distance between the strings.
Go to a large guitar shop and try as many different guitars as you can.

Well, usually the thinner the neck, the easier it is to play, but that, of course, depends upon the action, too.
I have a Kramer Pacer, which is basically identical to a Strat, and I love it.
I also have a Mosrite, which probably has the fastest, thinnest, narrowest neck on the market. Some guitarists don't like them quite that small, but I love it.
