I mean, are they really recorded live like in a concert or something... I was listening to a "live" album once (from a CD), and also watched the concert (from a DVD), and noticed that they ambient sounds (audience cheering, applauding, etc.) don't match that of the CD.

Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone knows of Christian equivalent bands to the following secular music artists:

1. Missy Elliott
2. Pussycat Dolls
3. Gorillaz

I especially like the beat in the songs that these artists play, but I don't like some of their lyrics. I am looking to find some Christian bands who play the same beat but with cleaner lyrics. Any ideas of which ones to choose? :)

Okay here is the stuff i know.
some of the words are "and we conducted experiments, and i was amazed at the things i learned...."
also there is a line about putting 2 things together to make them explode....
I think the band is from Minnesota.... like st paul or something... not sure though.

this may sound really wrong, but i remember hearing it this summer. ok....... it goes something like:

I heard a song on the radio, and hoped I would remember more of the lyrics, here is what i have.

1. Song by a single female female performer, with a voice like someone from tlc.

2. It was a rap / hip hop song, with a very good beat, one you would like to dance to.

3. "Player" was a word used in the song, if I remember it had something to do with the singer wanting a player to dance up on her or something like that.

Preety sketchy information, I know, I'll check out the songs on youtube so just throw anything out there if you have an idea.
