WE STILL CARE! The scene is still alive, just underground. Anyone can jump on the band wagon of whatever is popular at the time. My boyfriends metal band 'Demenxia' (plug) is fighting to get noticed, but they stay true to metal and are not swayed by the rhetorical garbage on the radio. Check them out and support the metal scene!

Of Course! I do love Death Metal. Bands like Iron Maiden, Sepultura, Cannibal Corpse etc. really blows my mind off and hope even the world.

I love death metal. I've loved it since I first heard it when I was fourteen, and I will always love it. It is my favourite thing.
I also hate idiots who whine about "mainstream culture" and "the radio" and "pop". If you don't like it, don't listen to it. These are usually the people who insist that Lamb of God is death metal and/or good music, though, so I don't expect them to be smart.

any kind of rock/metal has a certain substance that people like you cant comprehend. its called musical expression.. raw emotion is lost on you but the others i saw answer this question... live long rock hard...

i LOVE death metal and every thing about it. all these pansy people are coming out with pop rock which is POLLUTING the air waves. people who really know how to appreciate music listen to death metal. lamb of god. dead fetus. its all so good.
