What is his show like? Are there burning crosses and satanic videos on a big screen,or not? I was thinking of going to a Marilyn Manson concert and taking my mom with me.I don't mind the things I mentioned above,I just want to know how offended my mom might be.She loves his music almost as much as I do,and she doesn't mind a little bit of cross burning, but she has a limit to the anti-christ stuff. I just wanted to know if there was a ton of stuff like that or if there's not much of the sort to speak of.

I was advised to maximize the volume of the bass and vary the volume of the amplifier based on the requirement of the song. Is this the right approach? Can any of you bassists let me know what you normally do while playing a gig, and while practising?

(not 100% sure of the lyrics...this is the best I can remember them..)

It's NOT the song "I Need You" by America.

I NEED YOU!!
Wanna change the rising sun
Counting calls one by one
Living alone it's no fun
When it's only done by one
And you...more than anything else in this world
I need you
To brighten my day, to chase away
the hurt and pain you left me when you said goodbye
Listen to me baby...

TIME !!
Passes oh so slow
Got nowhere to go
See only pictures at the picture show
No nothing means (?) a single moment without you
More than anything else in this world
I need you
To brighten my day to chase away.......... (etc)

That's all i remember. I think it was sung by an afro-american band or individual....maybe Commodores or Temptations. The tone is soft and pleading, the music dramatic in places.

Thank you

the contain the lyrics "a girl in my arms". The MONKEES are a 60's group.

I know I should put more lyrics but I just cannot remember them. In any case, it is a distinctive SOLO by Davy Jones, hardly any background music. It is more like reciting a poem.

I'm looking for sheet music for the song "Fly me to the moon" I think it's written by someone named Bart Howard.
I've seen lots of different versions on the internet, but I want to play like they have it as the ending theme for Neon Genesis Evangelion.
It's hard to tell, because I am kind of bad at reading music, and even though the chords may match, I can't find anything with a melody that fits.
I guess if I can't find anything I could just play the melody the way I heard it. But I think that might make it harder to play the chords right. I really love this song, so any help is appreciated!

It is a male singer with a fairly high voice and it starts out with almost like marching band or military style drumming. The only lyrics of the song that I remember is something about "the band" was in one of the lines. It sounds more alternative rock style. I wish I could ask more, but I heard very little of the song and I believe it is pretty new.

On rap im not referring to the garbage out today, im talking old school when it had originality and real lyrics. In my opinion rap is the best lyrically and rock is the best instrumentally. But i probably like REAL rap better. Anyway what's your opinion?

like Amy WInehouse. I also have always loved Jamiroquai. Does anyone know other upcoming artists in this genre? And also where I should be going to see them live? I know about the Jazz cafe but is there anywhere else? I live in N.London.

I am not talking about already established artists, but people who are doing gigs here and there and arent yet mainstream.

Cheers
