Misfits (when Danzig was the lead singer)
Minor Threat (fast and real hardcore punk rock)
Bad Brains (their first album had some good hardcore punk rock)
Circle Jerks (have some good songs)
...these are original Hardcore Punk Rock bands from the late 70's and from the 80's, too
this is REAL PUNK ROCK music...not that watered down pop bullshit you hear nowadays! these cats started it. Of course you can name the Ramones, Sex Pistols, and the Clash...but they are NOT hardcore punk rock. they are more pop punk than anything...even though they are from that old school bunch that started it all. i guess you just have to listen for yourself and find out if you like pop punk, punk, or hardcore punk rock.
