Ok, what should I save up for...(out of the ones listed)

- Mike Dirnt Signature Bass
- Fender Standard P-Bass (Mexican I think it is)
- Fender American P-Bass
- Fender Deluxe P-Bass
- Flea Modulus FB4 Bass

I would like your opinion of the pros and cons of this. Please do not direct me to www.musiciansfriend.com or www.guitarcenter.com as I have already been there It would be good if you had experience with one of the basses. I'm also looking for a good description of the weight + sound (e.g. punchy, low etc.)

I'm currently using a Legend (unknown brand) Bass, which looks exactly like a Fender Standard P-Bass. I'm not sure if the standard sounds better through the exact same amp though :S

Preferably talking about...feeling used by the one you really like; or how they're in love with someone else.

So my fiance has suggested we each pick a song "for" the other one, which I think is a great idea. But I am having trouble picking one, since my music tastes are a little wider than his (I'm happy with just about anything) and I want a slow-dance-able song that's semi-sentimental, not too sappy, expresses the good ol' wedding sentiments and is music he actually likes.

Some groups he likes: Coldplay, All American Rejects, Oasis, Fall Out Boy, The Killers... I realize these aren't all conducive to wedding music, but if there's anything like their music that fits or any song of these groups that's lovey / ballady that I don't know of, I'd love it. I was thinking maybe Coldplay or Oasis, but all their songs I can think of are depressing breakup songs or "I wish you were mine" songs. I listen to audiobooks. Help me out. :)

For the past many years, i've felt that music has essentially 'died'.

Just listen to a radio station for an hour that plays the hit songs of present times and you will see it. We have a large majority of so-called 'artists' that can't even sing and have to depend on technology to make their voice better. No longer are the days of great live concerts with real bands and everything present. Now we have to pay insane amounts of money to go to a show where essentially, the performer is just dancing around as they mouth the words to their songs while the studio-edited, technologically enhanced version of the song plays for you.

And the content of the songs? It all seems to be the same now. The beats, the words, the meaning, the lack of connection and feeling.

Will those days I miss so much ever be back? I yearn for great musical eras like the 60's, 70's, even the 50's, all of which produced musical LEGENDS. Not just fake, manufactured, clones trying to be something they aren't.

I don't remember their name but in one of the songs i liked it went something like "gimme your 7 digit number" and "i've been around the world but i never met a girl like you"

In the video they were racing these other people on motorcycles and when they find out they lost, the other people take their helmets off and it turns out to be girls.

Does anybody remember this group? please someone help me.

The first song I am tryin to think of is probably six or more years old and the only lyrics i can remember says something about a halo on the bedpost. Its sung by either a guy or a guy bad and i would consider it rock or maybe alternative.

The next song is a long shot...Its the cliche song that one would hear at the end of maybe a sports movie when a team is gonna win on a last second shot and everything turns to slow motion. Theres no real lyrics that i know of so its hard to explain. If i could hum it, it would be easier. And i cant thinnk of a specific movie that its played in.

Thanks for the help.
