I downloaded a song on Limewire... It says it's a "rare" Linkin Park song called Faded, but it doesn't sound anything like LP!!! what could it be???

I'm a solo artist, from Camden town London, who has been performing across London and Kent building up a fan base and interest. I am now looking into getting a band together to create the full sound that I want for my songs, which can be heard in my recordings, for my live shows. My dad use to sing this song all the time, he passed away in 1990. We asked him to sing in on to a tape but he never got around to it. Would really like to find this song, lyrics, artist etc.....

I was wondering if someone would go to this person's Myspace page and see if they can get the song to load. I heard the song earlier and fell in love with it but didn't write it down and now I can't get the song to load. So therefore, I have no clue who sings it or even what it's called.
