I'm a solo artist, from Camden town London, who has been performing across London and Kent building up a fan base and interest. I am now looking into getting a band together to create the full sound that I want for my songs, which can be heard in my recordings, for my live shows. So does anyone know of, or are any of you muscians that would be interested in playing? I am looking for a Drummer, bassist, and lead guitarist for the moment. You can check out www.myspace.com/markmathews to see if you are interested

Thanks in advance

Hi Mark

I think you have potential, but I have the feeling that you need an arranger more than you need a band. Some of the songs could do with a bit of innovation in this respect. I would give an example of this in the song that opens your site the lead guitar is obstructive and definately detracts from your singing. It is a sort of Kinks/Blur..esque type of song that would probably benefit from a touch of sympathetic honky-tonk piano, tuba bass and additional percussion. I hope this helps.

what kind of metallic band are you in case you choose for an emo call? besides, i could only say get inspired with the help of a few thing, or turn open a e book and decide the 1st be conscious you spot. Do you have a Myspace internet site? i could choose for to hearken to your band. lol, do no longer Tase Me Bro is the superb band call I particularly have ever heard.
