i bought some dvd's but have noticed they are region 1 is there anyway i can get them to play in uk ?

Do you prefer your superhero movies to be campy and over the top like Batman 1-4. Or do you prefer movies that attempt to place themselves in the real world with real world situations and explanations?

Personally I prefer movies like Spider-Man and Superman where the superhero and villains may be over-the-top, but at least the alter egos exist in the real world and deal with real world problems.

i like those movies where theres an unknown guy who is a genius or has a hidden talent and then he/she just stuns everyone.
eg. good will hunting, a beautiful mind, finding forrester...

It was made sometime around the 80's. There are these children, I think two. Their grandparents come over from out of town to babysit. There is a mirror in their room, and somehow I don't know how it becomes magic... but it does. They jump thru it into another world. In the other world there are like "puppet" characters.... (NOT THE LABRYNTH) IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THIS MOVIE COULD BE.... PLEASE REPLY!!!!! tHANK YOU!!!

Okay so a LONG time ago, I was watching this movie, and I loved it! It was so random, but I dont know the name of it.
Okay what happens is that The main character's best friend committed suicide, and his dad always gave him medication, cuz he thoughT his son was crazy. He kept seeing his best freind everywhere, but only him, He was imaginary, and when he saw him, he saw him as a video game form...I know...CONFUSING!....Anyways, 3 people, Two guys and a girl wanted the drugs that the guy who committed suicide had hidden, and only the Main character knew where they were, so they threaten to do something with his little brother if he didnt get the drugs for them. They got the kid, but it turns out that it wasnt his little brother, it was some other kid, So the main character could really careless, but then they threaten to kill that boy, so he got the drugs for them, but what he didnt know is that his little brother had switched the drugs with fruit, and more stuff happens but HELP!?

I hated it! I'm sorry if that offends some fan out there. But I couldn't stand it. I don't know what they were thinking when making that. The second was even worse. The definition of OVERRATED!

and why are there such big price differences by area?

Where I live at home (South East England) it's over £6 for an adult (£7 evenings and weekends) and £5 for students. But in Northern Ireland where I go to uni my local cinema charges £5 for a adult at evenings and weekends, £3.50 during the day, £3.75 for a student and they have a special cheap day where all tickets are £2.50 all day.

It seems everytime I go home the prices have increased some more so I don't bother going to the cinema at home!
