Apocalypse Now. God that movie was dull, confusing and waaaaaay overdone.
A Clockwork Orange. Malcom McDowell's character sounded like a teletubby and you saw the ending coming a mile down the road.
2001 A Space Odyessy. Still makes no sense at all and I've watched it 3 times.
The last 3 Star Wars movies (the newer ones.) While the effects were great the stories were dumb, the acting was wooden, it all seemed to be presented as a giant marketing tool and JarJar Binx is the most offensive movie character since 1930s movies.
Godfather Part 3. Am I the only person who thinks this movie was absolutely awful? Michael's death scene was hilarious. Talia Shire and Coppola's daughter gave wretched performances.

Sound of Music - it's too long yet played over and over come Christmas time. And being a musical puts it over the top.

Gone with the Wind - "frankly dear..." Also too long. This stinker was a box office flop when it was released. It was years later that it became a hit.

yup, Titanic fits in there. The whole thing was hype. And the Love story was pathetic.

I find a lot of "classic" films are raved about being that there are so many baby boomers that like them. Lots of great movies since then.

Lawd, where do I start...

1. Grease
2. Titanic (not really a classic but bugs all the same)
3. Gone with the wind (I mean c'mon - 3+ hours!!)
4. Sound of Music (it's just not going to happen is it)
5. Albert & Costello films
6. Charlie Chaplain films

and that's about it - I will say though that I did find The King and I somewhat interesting, but there's my list for ya!

I enjoyed the e book The Bonfire of the Vanities. I regard it to be a popular-day American classic. whether, the action picture version replaced into absolute rubbish. It replaced into so a methods from how I perceived that tale i needed to cry. I even have under no circumstances examine Lord of the jewellery. fantasy fiction has no allure for me. The Godfather I enjoyed, Victorian literature I take exhilaration in when I even have staying power to examine each and every of the wordy stuff, yet i like the texture of examining some thing that is authentically Victorian, written precisely in that era. high-quality question. Have a megastar. ? EDIT. a contemporary action picture I disliked intensely (properly contemporary for me) replaced into the Jennifer Aniston one, breaking up. finished tosh. EDIT 2 I enjoyed The Shining. confident confident confident. yet a number of Stephen King books, in spite of the reality that very sturdy, make me ask your self what he's on!!!!!

I love all the ganster style movies so obviously top of everybodies list is the Godfather Trilogy, but (and sorry if I offend anybody) I have tried to watch it on numerous occasions and I just cannot get into it I find it slow and boring and I lose interest in it after half an hour or so!!
I must be missing something but I just cannot see what?
