Do you prefer your superhero movies to be campy and over the top like Batman 1-4. Or do you prefer movies that attempt to place themselves in the real world with real world situations and explanations?

Personally I prefer movies like Spider-Man and Superman where the superhero and villains may be over-the-top, but at least the alter egos exist in the real world and deal with real world problems.

I'm hoping for a sequel to Batman Begins. It was dark, as Batman should be. I hope they find someone to play a truly evil Joker. I like the X-Men movies so far. The Spiderman movies have had good action so far. Ghost Rider was fun, yet not really great, just fun to watch. Hulk was long and boring, but now that the setup is done, they could make a good sequel. The Fantastic Four was much better than it's sequel. I loved the darkly violent Punisher with Thomas Jane (who is always good). Daredevil was pretty good though I've never been a fan of the guy who played him (Ben Whassiname). I'm looking forward to see how well Robert Downey Jr. does with Iron Man. I was a huge Marvel fan as a kid and have not been disappointed with any of the movies with the exception of Hulk. Something featuring the WWII era Defenders (Captain America, Bucky, Sub-Mariner, the original Human Torch, etc.) would make a good movie. The Red Skull is a great super villain. Comic book fans can't help but enjoy seeing their favorite characters brought to life. I'm the first in line to see them when they are released.

well i love comics so superhero movies are always fun to watch. the only problem is the are movies and are condensed versions of comics or graphic novels, so you never really get a great feel for them.

Spiderman is a good example of this, its a great flim but its also kind of here and there with storylines. Same with the xmen movies.

Superman though is my favorite hero and his movie was awesome and i cant wait for the second one or...6th one is guess it would be. But again it really depends on what they do storyline wise.

As of now i guess i will say my favorite superhero movie is none...they are all average.

I love superhero movies to be true to the comics (if it is based of a comic which most are) I don't like when they change situations. I mean I loved Spider-Man, Superman, and X-Men. I like it to be over the top because it's fantasy.

I like Superman the best of all the superhero movies. The older ones, not the new Superman-it sucked.

I love the movie Ultraviolet starring Milla Jovovich.
That movie was cool, I don't normally like this style
of film but there was just something real neat about it.

I think the last one I really enjoyed was Unbreakable. The cartoony ones were ok, but I don't see myself paying for anymore of them, they all are to alike.
