Most dvd players these days will play dvds from different regions ( my region 4 player will play region 1 dvd's) if not i heard there are codes you can put in to unlock your dvd player but it depend of the dvd player you have.

Yeah you can.

Get the Model Of your DVD player, and if it's not already multi region most players have an unlock code to make it multi regional.

so lets say your dvd player is a LG RH7521W
google LG RH7521W unlock code and you will find that the unlock code for that is to...

Press Setup
Scroll to Lock
Press 0 (7 times)
A message will appear saying it is region free.

You need a multi-region player. I bought one for less than £45.00 {including delivery}.

Trying to un-lock your R2 player does work BUT, after a while a lot of the players will stick on a region.

And most DVDs are now copy-protected, so you can't rip discs on a PC.

Also, most R1 discs are in NTSC format - make sure your TV will play NTSC pictures.

i thought the latest DVD players can play DVDs from any region. Also, you can probably rip the DVD on your PC and burn it again in region-free format.
