Can anyone remember a film about a brother and sister in heaven before they were born. And i think it something to do with a bluebird or something? They they get born int oa family.... I remember watching it about 25 years ago, and my sister remembers it so i've not made it up! What was it????

I think i may have confused 2 films as neither bluebird films seem likely. Its about 2 children in heaven, forget the bluebird, before they're born.

...sounds like the story used in two similar films, and both entitled "The Blue Bird"...
...one version, starring Shirley Temple, was released in 1940; ironically, this film was very 'Wizard of Oz"-like, a notion bearing the fact that Shirley Temple almost got the role of Dorothy, in the MGM version, before Judy Garland finally stepped into the role...
...the other, filmed on location in Russia, starring Elizabeth Taylor, was released in 1976...
