It was made sometime around the 80's. There are these children, I think two. Their grandparents come over from out of town to babysit. There is a mirror in their room, and somehow I don't know how it becomes magic... but it does. They jump thru it into another world. In the other world there are like "puppet" characters.... (NOT THE LABRYNTH) IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THIS MOVIE COULD BE.... PLEASE REPLY!!!!! tHANK YOU!!!

I think Meg answered correctly with "The Hugga Bunch Movie". This legendary flick is one of my greatest enemies, since roughly 11% of all "What was that movie?" questions are about it. (Another 21% are about "Child of Glass".) Any time someone recalls details about puppets, a mirror, grandparents, and a magical world, they're usually thinking of "Hugga", although the real key plot points involve the witch and the magical fruit that grant her youth.
