I hated it! I'm sorry if that offends some fan out there. But I couldn't stand it. I don't know what they were thinking when making that. The second was even worse. The definition of OVERRATED!

Agree or Disagree?

I totally agree...
it is definately the worst film i have EVER seen...
it was boring, dull, not at all scary, badly written, badly filmed, badly directed & the plot was flawed... they didn't cook, they didnt eat, they didnt go to toilet and they didnt carry any of their camping equipment.
the characters were pointless & undeveloped and i didn't care what happened to them...
i have to admit that i did think that the ending was good... but that was the only bit, and it definately wasn't worth waiting for.
i get scared when i walk around the countryside at night, when it's very dark... but Blair Witch didnt evoke any of those feelings.
I'm glad i'm not the only one who hated the film
I didn't bother seeing the second film... i couldn't bare the thought of sitting through the boredom!
:-)

I agree with you on some aspects. It really did not hold my interest that long and feel that it could have been better.

I do have to say they were very creative with the budget that they had to work with.

The advertising campaign that they had was one of the well known and history makers of all time. A majority of people who went to see it believed that it was an actual event because of the way they advertised it. The websites and stradegies that they used to sell it were outstanding.

So in a way it was a bad movie, however I feel that other aspects of the film should be looked at also.

Yeah, I didn't really know what to think of it. I never heard of it before my friend decided to rent it. And then she told me somewhere in the beginning that the movie part hadn't started or SOMETHING like that. I think she just meant the "action". But whatever, the whole time I was like, "When does it get scary??" A couple of my friends were terrified of the whole thing, I just stared at the screen trying to figure out why anyone would decide to make a movie like that.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. Some parts in that movie really scared the crap out of me. And I don't get scared very often.

Actually the original was rather good considering budget and such. Especially if you watched it in that area. It is a very good cinematic piece. Number two was a joke and should have never been made

Agree. It was a waste of about 2 hours of my life that I will never get back.

I agree. They kept screaming and being scared but they never showed anything that they were scared of. To me it was just a big joke.
