To me, cinema is not just a hobby, but a study. Therefore, I take it seriously, and have established rules for myself while watching films. Some people (mostly casual movie fans) consideir me weird for this, but I find that these guidelines help maximize the enjoyment and education I derive from watching films.

*Once you start watching a movie, don't stop until it's over.
*Don't watch a movie with expectations. That is, don't go in thinking "This is gonna be great!" or "This is gonna suck!"
*The bigger the screen, the better the movie.
*The darker the room, the better the movie.
*No talking or distractions while watching a movie.
*All movies (horror, anime, fantasy, war, etc) are fair game.

All I remember was 3 people in a car. A girl driving, and another guy in the front seat. The guy in the back had a glowing finger for some reason, and I think they were bringing him to the hospital. I know that doesn't help much, but it's all I remember. Any ideas?

I hope so because I think that is ridiculous. I like the Saw series, but it doesn't need to be more graphic than it already is.

there was this cartoon where aliens are blue and they capture human beings and use them to fight against one another. Later on one human escapes and takes their learning device where he learns from it. He finds other humans and they start to learn and pretty soon they fight against the aliens and win. What is the name of that movie?

It used to come on Disney channel in the 90s. It was about a duckling named Shawn, who lives in a marsh near an airport. During the fasll his family plans to fly south for the winter, though when the day comes for them to leave Shawn has a hard time keeping up and gets left behind. He later meets Moly a mole who helps him find food and shelter, but when Moely goes back to his burrow Shawn is left by himself.

After sometime he comes across his friend, Puffy a young puffin who also got left behind with some help from Moly they stick together until the spring when Shawn's family and the other marsh land birds return from the south.

Anyone remember the name of this movie?

would like to know.

(sorry if I might've spelled anything wrong)

The movie was about two chldhood friends (boy and girl) and an old man. The boy finds a shark in a tidal pool and touches it /picks it up. The old man tells him that the shark is now imprinted/bonded to him. As the boy gets older he carries out the old man's last wish (to be buried at sea with sharks so that his soul can transfer to a shark. The girl and her parents move away. The boy grows up and indeed the shark stays near him. Years later the girl returns to visit. The boy lives in a floating shack at the end of a pier with a hatch in the floor. She see's this and is in disbelief that the shark really made the bond with him and he still has it. He then pulls out a sketch book where he had been sketching her unseen for all the years she was gone. The sketches are so accurate they could be photographs, even as her hairstyle changed through the years. I don't remember how the movie ends. I think I was about 10 years old when I saw this movie. Thank you for your help

This just shows how ridiculous and stupid hollywood is. 'Rescue Dawn' (starring Christian Bale, which is based on the true story of a man fighting for survival in the jungle during the Vietnam War) is given a very limited release while crap movies like 'Bratz' (about conceited and shallow girls that are giving girls a bad image) are opening everywhere. What is going on?

In the movie, "Airport", Dean Martin hums an Italian love song in the cab ride to see Jackie Bissett. It's a famous song. It's not 'O Sole Mio'. Can you name the song? This is driving me nuts!

There was a movie that's come out in the past year or so that I remember hearing a little about, but I forgot the title. It's about the life of artist Andy Worhal's girlfriend, who's name I don't remember either. Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about?

This question is for anyone who has rented or bought the newest version of the John Woo film Hard-Boiled starring Chow Yun-Fat that was released July 24, 2007.

I want a version of this film that has English subtitles and NOT dubbing because, to me, it's not as immersive. So, does the new version have English subtitles or just dubbing? Or both?

Thanks for any help.

The Boy called 'T' get's involved in a gang who then destroy a house of an old man. A key line in the film and most memorable to me was ' you have to nick three things from Woolworths and have fatty fart on your face' to join the gang.
