"Vertigo" was one of my favorites. The acting was great and the music really set the tone. Jimmy Stewart was great. So was Kim Novak. She was wonderful as well. The story is what I really liked.
I also liked his film "North by Northwest". Cary Grant is great in this movie. I really like this plot as well. The dialog was superb along with the beautiful direction. The girl (I don't remember her name) did very well too. I should watch this one again, I haven't seen it in awhile.
He has made a lot of good movies, though, right? How can you pick just one.

My all time favorite was THE BIRDS I saw it as a little girl and I am still affected by it whenever a flock goes over to this day. NORTH BY NORTHWEST comes in a close second.

"North By Northwest", is my personal favorite Hitchcock film. There are many great ones I enjoy from him, though; "Vertigo", "Notorious", "Psycho", and "Dial M for Murder" just to name a few.

Rope .. I'm not sure why.. maybe the fact that it is sort of a fictional account of a real murder.. It's always been my favorite.
