I have been told that Harry Potter and the order of the phinix was the last movie they were going to make. Is that true.

yes, they are making the last 2 books into movies. filming on film 6 starts next month, and will be out nov or dec of 2008.

Egh-no. A big lie. There will be Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The trio has also signed a contract, binding them to the last two movies-so yeah, there will be more.

I am not quiet sure if this was the final movie in the series,but I am pretty sure that they are going to make two more movies to the series and that would be the end of the Harry Potter movies.

they are doing casting for the new characters that are added in half blood prince. i think they need to find parts lavender, the new minister of magic Rufus scrimgeour and Narcissus Malfoy, who if you have read the books, you will know play an important part in the story, i think they have to find someone to play Horace slughorn but i don't know if he will even be in it. most likely though, they have already found locations and they will be filming in Scotland this time. it is suppose to be really big, i cant believe you heard differently. you can get news on the movies by visiting www.leakycauldren.com or www.mugglenet.com both are full of harry potter facts.

That had better not be true, I can't wait to see the movie for Deathly Hallows! That will have to come after 6... and 5 is playing currently. The movies make way too much money for them to stop now.

No, it's absolute not. For even though they have not publicly announce a film for the sixth book yet, you can bet your movie ticket money that it's already in the works. It's obvious that, as a general rule, you make a movie out of every book in a series of books. There's no doubt about that. It's always a no-brainer.
