It's clearly Candyman... I think it's because almost everything that happens to Helen is in a modern day city, in broad daylight surrounded by people - in the multistorey car park, in hospital etc.
It's that fear that if something scary happens, you're completely alone even though people are everywhere - eek!
Who agrees?

i think armageddon would be much better.....deep impact was horrible....in armageddon they focused more on the asteroid and what they focused in deep impact was to put those people in that tunnel...armageddon's story and action is better in my opinion

It played sometime in the 70s, about a man who went into a trance in his house or apartment and astral-projected outside his body. In this way he killed people. A policeman, or detective, or whatever he was, knew the man was guilty, but because he had an alibi (he was in his apartment, or house), the law couldn't touch him. People saw the man's astral spirit during the murders, but again, there was no proof. At the end of the movie, the detective, or whatever he was, went into the man's apartment or house and cremated his body ... so I guess his spirit must still be wandering outside his body to this day. Which doesn't make sense to me now, because he was a lot more dangerous in spiritual form, and could probably do something to the detective or cop. Of course, I was small, so I might've missed something.

A few years ago, I watched a film which I remember as quite good but now I want to watch it again, I can't remember the title or the exact storyline. To the best of my memory, its about some dumb criminal who is hired by the mob? but makes a complete shambles of the job and he is driven out into some shack in the desert. Whilst imprisoned in the shack, the mobsters beat him senseless, daily, trying to force him to forget. I do remember a scene where he is hit over the head with a golf club. After a while, he pretends that he has no idea who or where he is and then kills his captors.

I would really appreciate it if someone can let me know the title. I hope I've given enough of a description! Thanks

Don't get me wrong, I love movies like "Casino" & "Scarface." But for some reason i just couldnt get into "The Godfather." I think its because my expectations were set to high (Cause of IMDb rating of 9.1, greatest movie of all time). Or maybe its because the movie was 3 hours long. Or the movie's to old(1972). Or do I have to watch the sequals maybe. I will say this though Marlon Brando definetly deserved his Oscar. I mean the movie was good but is it arguably the best movie of all-time. IDK. Am I the only one who feels like this?
