Movies - 17 July 2007

One of my favorite movies. I just happened across it on day on late nite SciFi channel.

Ive noticed people either LOVE it or HATE it, never seems to be a middle ground.

What do you think?

They finally come out only to find it was a false alarm. The boy's mother has taught him to dance & there was a great scene at a night club during which the leading man danced swing with two girls.

Here's what I saw: It starred 2 guys & a girl in their 20's. They were obviously foreign due to their accents. I can't remember the accent but it was definately somewhere in Europe. And I guess they killed some people and they ended up with a TON of money. And the money ended up tearing them apart. Like, the couple (the older guy and girl) were plotting against the youngest boy. Then, the oldest guy in creepy glasses and a side part tried to leave with the money while the girl was sleeping. But she caught him. And then he retaliated by telling her that he secretly knew she had bought two plane tickets for herself and the younger guy. And then she stabbed creepy older guy in the throat. And then when the young kid thought everything was solved she stabbed him and took off with the $. But young kid had the last laugh-he didn't die and had actually cut newspaper into squares to replace the bills in the suitcase. The camera then zoomed to show the $ beneath the floor under him.

he was like my favorite character next to ron hermione and harry and luna!!!! i was sad when they killed him off!!!

I just remember the commercial...
A guy in his early 20's that worked the graveyard shift. where he worked...maybe a funeral home, i think it was creepy. I remember a quick sceen where he was looking through a small window through a door in the building. Maybe something was chasing him? Came alive? I really dont know. It would have been 7-10 years ago. I know it's not a lot to go off but if anyone knows that would be great!

I watched a movie probably like 15 years ago or so that I want to find again, but I can't for the life of me remember the name... The basic story line is this: A family passes through a (desert?) town and runs out of gas; the problem is that the town hasn't had a delivery of gas for some time so they're stranded, staying at some crummy motel. Then there's this psycho kid that likes the daughter of the family and wants her to stay there, so he tries to kill the parents when they finally siphoned some gas into their car by putting a lighter on a radio-controlled car and driving it underneat their vehicle to set it on fire. Can't remember much more, except that the pscho kid lived in like a radio or water tower or something like that... Any help would be much appreciated!! Thanks! :-)

An early 80's movie with a guy sitting in class with an essay paper in front of him. A kind of rebel guy wearing a leather jacket. The essay question is, "what do you want out of life?" All he writes on the paper is, "More" This scene was in the trailer.

Is the Weinstein Company unable to overcome the losses incurred by Grindhouse (2007) (or the Disney/Miramax split)? She played a Quaker named Sally Wister. There were 3 other main characters (loyalist, patriot, someone who tried to be neutral but ended up patriot).

My family saw this short film at the Independence Visitor's Center in Philadelphia on 07/17/07. She appeared younger in this film than in her Veronica Mars series. I think it was made by the History Channel.
