Six-String Samurai....what do you think of this movie?

One of my favorite movies. I just happened across it on day on late nite SciFi channel.

Ive noticed people either LOVE it or HATE it, never seems to be a middle ground.

What do you think?

Most people who like mainstream movies hate it, the ones who like it are usually the comic book and Indie movie junkies like me : P It's not about the production values or even the acting, but about the idea or concept and the way the film maker brought it to life. I saw an ad for it in a comic book way back in the late 90s and tried searching for it in video shops but couldn't find it, then by luck, lo and behold! I saw it on cable and basically just sat back and enjoyed it for what it was, a creative storyteller's brainchild. It also helped that I was an 80s Hong Kong martial arts movie buff and am familiar with Jeff Falcon. Now, if only someone would bring Frank Miller's "Ronin" into the silver screen, like they did "300".
