...,last May, I went to the 'Fangoria Weekend of Horrors' in Burbank, California, and experienced a great moment, when several of the original film's cast members got together for a Q&A reunion. The director of the original "Phantasm" Don Coscarelli, was there, and he teased the convention audience with the news that not only does he want to do a final film, tying the entire series together, but also, he wants to a remake/reconceptualization of the original film, using comtemporary special effects technology.
Per Coscarelli, the "Phantasm series is an unstoppable juggernaut, and there WILL be more to come....."
