The media made a big deal when a bi-racial woman won (Halie Berry), and now they are doing it again with a Spanish woman (Penelope Cruz), I am wondering if a Jewish woman ever won for best actress.

The horrible cross device that twisted the poor guy every which way at the end. Has anything similar to that actually been used historically?

That would mean she was only 14 years old when she appeared in "Bolero"! If you've seen the movie, you KNOW why this would be a problem! Did John and Bo Derek REALLY use such a young girl for such a scene, and if so, shouldn't they be in trouble with the law? Also, wouldn't the Dvd be illegal? ( P.s. I know "Bolero" came out in 1984, but I'm assuming it was filmed in 1983 since Olivia was on the set of "Conan the Barbarian" for he 15th birthday...)
