Jaws is a classic film which still has the appeal to thrill first time watchers
Bad points: Shark looked fake. Shark seems to have personal vendetta against the Brody Family in later sequels (Shark's brains are about the size of a pea - would have no memory whatsoever)
Still scares me to this day - will not go past my waist in the water when I go to the beach.

The best part of Jaws was what you imagined. The mechanical shark broke during production. There are only one, or two, shots of the shark. The rest of the film you only see the fin.
The worst... wait I loved the movie!

I actually loved this movie at one time, and it's never made me scared enough to stay out of the water. But I watched it recently because we had a shark attack in my area (I know, weird that I would choose to watch after that), and it was just really boring. i was waiting for the shark to come for hours, and we hardly even see it until the end. It's a lot of suspense without the gratification of seeing the monster enough to keep my interest!

The good points are the scene where the boys on a lilo and he gets served as a macdonalds happy meal. The bad point is the severed head scene that made me urinate when I was 5.

What I remember of seeing that movie is the special effects.
The shark was so real that it looked like it could pop off the screen and eat someone in the theatre.
Also, the scenery in some shots was great along the beach.
What wasn't so great was the acting.

the whale was a good one, but the death of jaws was a let down even a 8 year old kid watching it

Good Points:
-Good graphics for when it was made
-Made a lot of money
-Classic horror film
Bad Points:
-Made a lot of people scared to go swim.
-Not that realisitic when it comes down to it.
-Blood was too fake of a color

There are no good parts, do you realize how sharks have been slaughtered due to that movie??? Sharks are a viable predator to our oceans.
