To make a confession, I once saw "Spice World" in a movie theater because I was once a fan of the group. The reason why "Spice World" became a lackluster because most of the critics hated it. I thought that most of the stuff in the movie is "uninspired" but that is the reason why this movie hurt the group in the first place. It's been 10 years since they made into some phenomenon in the late '90s. I was worried about them making a comeback but I tried to keep it silent and focus on something else.

I saw it (on the telly, I wouldn't have wasted money on seeing it in the cinema and wouldn't advise you to buy/rent it, if you want to see it wait for it to come on telly although I doubt it will anytime soon) so I could slag it off without doing it out of ignorance. It is pretty dire. I don't remember much (I think I've blanked it out) except them being very rowdy and wooden. There's no plot and they sing a lot. It's not even funny.
Clearly they thought they could make a film in a similar style to 'A Hard Days Night', alas they are not funny (the Beatles were).
It looks really dated now too (and not in a good way).

I'm afraid to say yes. Even worse I saw it in public and paid good money at cinema. I have the unenviable habit of never walking out of a film, no matter how bad it is. Unfortunately, this tale emphasises how I need to break this habit!
Richard E. Grant is always fabulous though. . . (how could he lower himself)

I have when I was younger and it first came out. Me and my sister were huge fans. At the time, which has been a lot ofyears ago, seemed really good :) But I bet if I watched it today I would probably have a different opinion.

If you like cheesy manufactured girl/boy bands then this is the movie for you,but if you prefer your music to be played with actual instruments and not some glorified karaoke act, then avoid at all costs!

I did not think it was too bad - Take it for what it is and don't expect oscar winning performances! It fills some time and is better than watching paint dry
