Who remembers radio before television took its place?

Television was experimental until about 1940 when a few stations began broadcasting. World War II shoved television onto a back burner and it did not become a major medium until the late 40's.

I remember when we listened to the radio at night like we later watched TV. Radio drama, quiz shows, variety shows, news specials, and much more were brought into the living room by this wonderful medium.

Then television came in and took its place. It's not bad, but somehow I think radio was better. I remember baseball games, the Indianapolis 500, political conventions, and more on television.

Who agrees with me? What are the chances old-fashioned radio could make a comeback--possibly through satellite radio?

A little girl asked her Mum,?

"Mum, may I take the dog for a walk around the block?"

Mum Replies,
"No, because she is on heat."

What does that mean?" asked the child.

"Go ask your father. I think he's in the garage."

The little girl goes to the garage and says,

"Dad, may I take Belle for a walk around the block? I asked
Mum, but she said the dog was on heat and to come to you."

Dad said, "Bring Belle over here."

He took a rag, soaked it with petrol, and scrubbed the dog's backside
with it to disguise the scent and said

"OK, you can go now, but keep Belle on the leash and only go
one time round the block."

The little girl left and returned a few minutes later with no
dog on the leash.

Surprised, Dad asked, "Where's Belle?"

(YOU'RE
GONNA LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!! )

The little girl said,

"She ran out of petrol about halfway down the block so another
dog is pushing her home."

Do guys realize the right girl later on?

Say he really really likes girl A, and they went through a lot, and got to know everything about each other. Then has a "thing" with girl B.. and starts ignoring girl A, but still always looks at her from afar during and after girl B doesn't work out? Why does he still ignore girl A after B doesn't work out?

I need a title for this movie?? foreign actors??

I'm gonna try and be as detailed as possible. Don't know the names of any actors. The movie is about a girl who is sleeping with all these different men , and the relationships never go anywhere. So, she finds this one guy and he is a writer she meets at her friends bookstore, she likes him a lot and they wind up sleeping together. Well, something ends up happening with that, and she decides to be celebute for awhile, like 3 months or something. Well, she meets another guy, she really likes him, and they both have pet frogs, or hamsters or something like that, and she sits the pets and they end up having babies. Anyway, she is trying hard to be celebute or whatever, and at the end of her time they get a room somewhere and are about to go to it, and she like can't or whatever, so they sleep. well the guy has an ex who is now a lesbian, and he's a talk show host. The chic works, and has a sister, her mom is dead, her massage therapist smokes alot.
