The skin is the largest organ. Washing the skin (depending on the type of soap used) removes natural oils which help the skin retain moisture. The skin becomes drier after bathing. The body's natural process sends internal moisture to the skin to counter the dryness and rehydrate the skin. The thirst you feel is to replenish the moisture being transmitted to the skin. It's not unusual.

It does sound like you are dehydrated. I'm not a doc but you know...that is dangerous and makes you feel miserable. My advice to you is to quit measuring your water and your weight, and just keep a glass of water on hand. Sip it pretty much constantly and eat water containing foods like melon and fruit, and soups, etc. Lay off the salt which makes you retain, and stay in the AC and do gentle exercising that you don't have to sweat. Stay out of the sauna for now. Do all this until your bathroom habits are back to normal, and until your thirst goes away. And if you continue not to use the bathroom, see the doctor. You must eliminate wastes and especially feces or you can literally be poisoned by them. And if you are in the heat for any time, and you are not sweating...get OUT of the heat immediately, it is super dangerous. Your water weight will go up and down, it is tied to your menstrual cycle, the weather, and yes, what you eat and drink...but you have to allow yourself to be hydrated. If you are trying to lose weight, then you need to lose fat, not fluids. Oddly enough, the way to reduce bloat, is to drink more, not less. It sounds like you are a little consumed about your weight. I don't know your story but you are probably just fine, and you are being a bit hard on yourself. Look at the charts and if your weight and height are within the normal ranges then you have got to learn to trust that or you could kill yourself trying to make yourself too thin.
