I did my best a little while ago, with a suprise hotel dinner and overnight stay, because I don't want romance to become stale after 12 years and two children.
I booked a night in a nice hotel in a room with a four poster bed. I secretly packed a pag, and took her to the hotel for dinner, having discreetly checked in first. I made sure there were flowers on the bed, and the tiniest little box of chocolates. Towards the end of the meal,I excused myself for a bathroom visit and hurried up to the room to run a foamy bath and put scented candles around it.
She loved it, as it was a total surprise.
Not a trip to Paris or Venice, I know, but I did my best.

romance to me is just loving her every day ,loving her good sides and bad,being there for her,when she's down and cries,being a couple doing things together,let her soak in the bath for 2 hours,with candles and wine,while i pull out whats left of my hair,telling the kids to be quiet while mums resting!!!.my wife isn't materialistic,she doesn't need me to buy her flowere or chocs to tell her i love her,she knows,because i tell her,or show her with a cuddle or quick kisses,if i bought flowers or a present in most days my wife would look at me strange and say 'its not my birthday,so what have you done?' lol,i just love her with all my heart,full stop,if i had the money i would give my wife the whole universe,because i love her very much.

i would make breakfast in bed for my buttercup, my wildflower as the hours pass make her dinner then wash the dishes after all by myself. run her bubble bath water and light up candles with red rose petals all around the tub and put on some soft music give my lady a full body massage after. i would take my lady to the beach lay in the sand together tickle her just to see her lovely smile give her kisses passionately touch her body with my fingertips up and down so sensual look deep into her eyes french kiss her as our hands press against each other making our fingers lock. make her laugh watch the sunset then slow dance with my lady on the pier watch the stars sparkle in her eyes holding each other softly under the moonlight if it get's cold i would take off my coat put it on her and smile at her. take her out to a fancy romantic restaurant where we could see the whole city view through the window. read my deepest thoughts of her with affectionate poetry to my lady over the microphone in front of other lovers or softly whisper i love you in her ear as i hold her hand treat her like a queen i would do anything to make my number one favorite best lady feel special and loved by me!â¥
i'm falling in love and i don't even have a lady to fall in love with.

I don't know. I want to do something different for different girls.
I think for now..the most romantic thing I did was
during her birthday, I taped her friends saying happy birthday wishes to her and give it to her, because she's leaving for national service later on.
and when she got bruised, I bought her a pack of ice.
not exactly most romantic. but.. I tried.

I went to pick up my then girl friend at the Airport with the biggest bunch of flowers. I was the only one doing it.
