Why is it that a lot of young people (geez I sound like my parents or something!) type like this?

Is it considered cool or something? I just find it extremely annoying and hard to read.

I read alot of answers on here but all examples just prove we don't need the K because the "ch" sound we cannot do without but can you give an example of where the K is an exclusive sound that could not be replaced by the C
