Possibly if u saw something that overwhelmed u.. but at the same time somthing that underwhelmed u..they might cancel each other out and leave u just whelmed.
Right now Im slightly whelmed, however that could change

Overwhelm and whelm are pretty much the same thing.

Underwhelmed is a relatively new word (1949 ish), so yes you can be all three...

Probably not. 'To whelm' itself means 'to engulf, submerge, or bury'. So to say that you are 'whelmed' has the same meaning as being 'overwhelmed'. Don't ask me why the latter is always used instead of the former, though...
