Sometimes I wonder about people, who post questions here, stating that they are going to attend a university,. Yet they misspell words and their grammar is simply awful. Makes me wonder what kind of university they will be attending. Some questions posted are almost incomprehensible, what with poor spelling, and bad sentence construction. .

Sometimes, I know very literate people will misspell on purpose. I like to see words written correctly. I try to correct my own sentences, most of the time; even typo. Is it that people want to sound/look dumb so they "fit in"?

I do realize that this site has people from all around the world, For many, English is probably not their native or primary language,. Consequently, grammar and spelling may be difficult for them. I don't get frustrated,; though; just sadened with the laxed school system here in the United States. Schooling is taken forgranted. Consequently, a lot of high school students are not well versed in the written English language.

I choose questions to answer based on the content as well as the literacy of it too. I figure, if someone cannot write pretty much correctly, they will probably be clueless as to what I write in my replies. Maybe that is presumptuous on my part.. However, I do like to use simple words equivalent to the predetermined intelligence level of the asker. I truly hope that the asker can read and understand the gist of my message.

Poor spellings are inexcusable. YA is all part of a learning process. There's the spell check provided by this site. There are search engines and dictionaries. Posting questions with correct spelling makes it more comprehensible and understandable. They would elicit more accurate, direct, clear, and truthful answers.

Now to get to your vague question. There are some words that once misspelled will entirely indicate another word. For example( e.g. .) shell if spelled w/o the h becomes an entirely different word i.e., sell. Another example would be the word: saucy- which describes food that's tasty with the right sauce. But sauced spelled a different way is colloquial for drunk. See what I mean?. A difference in spelling makes a big difference in the meanings.

Now, peruse your question. "theres" should be there's or there are ( Object complement) . From the sound of it, it became "their" which I'm sure you didn't mean to use .(pronoun) Tru should be true. Did I understand your question? I hope my reply meets your question.

Huh? False, I think. I have to agree with the first answer... this is a perfect example of the need for positive communication skills. Re-think the question... then you may get the answer you were looking for.
