I know this may be a bit too late, and just to make it clear, I am NOT desperate or anything. I had applied to MIT, Brown and Rensselaer but I got rejected at both MIT and Brown. As you may all know, the deadline for fall passed a long time ago. Might any of you be knowing institutions of repute that offer International Undergraduate Spring admissions and that also give aid to Internationals. Whether a college is need based or need blind is not a criterion, but it HAS to offer aid. I am primarily interested in a science and engineering career (with minor(s) probably in some other subject.

I'm graduating in two months. I want to travel and have two options: Be spontaneous and go alone with a school-sponsored study abroad program this summer. Or, wait for my boyfriend to finish school (two semesters) and plan our own trip to Paris...I don't want to leave him behind for 6 weeks...but I also dont want to regret not going. I'm not sure which is better: the structure of the program or travelling alone...

I'm 17 years old, living in Romania(which recently became an EU member, fact that is supposed to make it easier and cheaper for me to study in UK). I'm currently on 11th grade, which means i'm in my 3rd year of highschool, so i still ahve 1 more year to decide where to apply to, but i heard that i would have to fill out forms 1 year before my final exams(which take place at the end of my 4th year) in order to get accepted in an abroad university. i need to know how much would it cost to study there and what are protocols for me to get in? i'm not necessarily asking for links, athough they could turn out to be very useful. i could really use some exact information, since the info available on the internet is overwhealming, can't possibly check every website there is;))
I would be very greatful if you'd take some time and answer my question:)
