did your score improve in the second or third time you took the SAT?, if yes how many scorses, each section? and did you do something to improve it?
I took it for the first time a few months ago and my only problem is that I was too slow in the exam, but the type of questions wasn't hard for me at all.

I have taken personal notes and have obtained a practice exam with correct answers and diagrams suitable for someone to study for a certain national certification exam. I have no copywrite on my notes or exam and all is my original work. Would it be legal to sell something like this on ebay? Do you think people would pay to get good notes and guaranteed questions that are to be on the exam?

I've been told not to guess answers on the SAT if I'm not sure about one. I know each correct answer is scored as one point while each incorrect answer takes off 1/4 point. I don't know if I'm being stupid, but why not guess? Why is leaving it blank a better choice? Do they really not take points off for having a blank answer?

I have Biology Edexcel board exam in a few days, but I've decided that I'm happy with my original mark ( 74/100) in the paper I'm resisting. I don't want to study for it, and I'll spend my time preparing for the C2 and S1 resist. Will they consider I got 0/100 and lower my original total 241/300 from A to 167 which I think is a C? BTW what subjects do you have in January? And anyone looking forward to IGCSE November results on the 19th? What subjects did you do in that session? BTW I'm not cheating, these are all related questions.

I took a test at my school this fall, and have gotten my results back today. It is called the PLAN test, and is basically just a practice ACT for sophomores so they get an idea of what the ACT will be like, and what their scores will be. Students are given a range of five numbers between 1 and 32 predicting what their ACT score will be. (I don't undersand this considering that the actual ACT goes up to 36, but whatever)

The range I receieved was 28-32... the highest possible range, I believe. But what does this really mean for the actual ACT? These scores don't guarentee that I will do well on my ACT, they are just a prediction.

With this score, predicting my ACT... what does that mean for college admissions? I have about a 3.7 grade point average, and I'm just wondering what colleges are open to me. If I have chances to get into Ivy League schools, etc. Or, I'm just looking for a place you might know of that could list colleges and the ACT scores they expect for admission.

we just got our scores back, and i got:

critical reading - 74
math - 80
writing - 75

is this good enough to be a national merit finalist or scholar? how good/bad is this in comparison to you or any of your friends?

if any of you have been through the whole national merit thing - what are my chances of making it all the way through?

any input is greatly appreciated :)

and by the way - i asked this question earlier and everyone answered as if the scores i gave above were percentiles or as if they were my scores on the SAT. they are not. these are just the numeric scores i received on the PSAT.

also, my score report said i was in the 99th percentile for all 3 subjects?

thanks for your time!

OK, so I am a good flutist. I have signed up to go to Solo and Ensemble at Bloomington North HS in IN to do a solo and a quartet. This is special to me because in the quartet is a friend that has moved and this will be the last time I get together with her or see her.
Time: unknown yet (a.m./p.m.)

But on the same day I have to take an SAT test. (I am only thirteen.) It is because of my above average scores on the ISTEP+, the standardized state test in the grade before. It is at Southport HS in IN near Indianapolis in Southport. (duh)
Time: 8:00 - 11:45 a.m.

If you check on MapQuest, it takes about an hour to get from Southport to Bloomington, or vice versa. My greatest hope is that the time is after afternoon, around 1 or 2 p.m., so I can make it.

But if it isn't, then which should I select? My parents paid $80 for the SAT testing, and to rearrange the testing date is and extra $20. The band contest took $15.

Here what it said “ This number is based on a scientific formula that compares how many questions you answered correctly on the Classic IQ Test relative to others.

Your Intellectual Type is Inventive Inquisitor. You have the unusual distinction of being equally good at math and verbal skills. This means you are a creative thinker and are uniquely good at teaching others through experiences. You are also a great improviser and very good at handling change. Is my result good
