I want to get at least a 30-possibly a 31 or 32.

It really depends on where you want to go to college. If you're planning to go to a public college, you're fine. If you're planning to go to a selective private college, you may have some trouble.

Even if you only want to go to a public university, I would recommend improving your score for SCHOLARSHIPS! Most scholarships are based on your ACT scores. For example, the colleges I am looking at start giving full rides at around a 30. You can get 25-50% scholarships for around a 26. If your parents are rich or you're an outstanding athlete, you really don't have to worry about this.

Congrats on your ACT score! (Did you take the Dec. 2006 test? I just got my scores back too!)

I think the highest possible score is still 36. at least thats what it was when I took it 4 years ago.

that score is good enough to get into and state college in minnesota wisconson and the dakotas
the minimum for them is 19
it wont get you into harvard or yale but you have a shot at some other large colleges like Duke or Cal Poly

You better believe it....I am a straight A student and got a 23! I had no problem getting accepted to my school.

well the highest score you can get is a 36. So I would say it is pretty good; but its not great.

well just to get into a john hokins summer program you need a score of 29 for kids that are in 8th grade... so...
