try integrating math into simple things, such as cooking.. ( fractions for measuring), build things.. (using tape measure, cutting angles, arches etc.) Measure the square footage of your room, measure things in cubic ft. and cubic inches.

It always amazes me that young drug dealers are quite sharp when it comes to measuring grams, ounces and pounds, with never a second thought of the fractions in between, it comes fluidly from there mind, not to mention adding, subtracting and multiplying all aspects of their product and currency involved.

* Not that I am suggesting such a venture, but if they can do it...so can you!

Look around you and do more research first.

Maybe you are in a class that is too tough.( if your in high school that is)
Try getting some extra help from teacher or another student.
Stay current on your math, dont get behind. If you dont understand something new in class make sure you get it explained. It is harder when you have to play "catch-up"
Most teachers/ schools would be glad to help you learn if you show interest.
Always do your math homework first, get it done and out of the way before you get too tired.
Also review and learn your basic multiplications and division if you dont know them ( thats what it sounded like in your question)
Dont give up.Not everyone is good at math sometimes its just learning the "rule" or "trick" and following it step by step.

I'd go with a math tutor or transfer into a less difficult math class. I'd also suggest a spelling tutor....its TRYING not TRIING...good luck

have a friend/teacher help you. Maybe your family can help too. Do you have any older brother/sisters? talk to your teacher. are you taking a really advance math class?
