What year are you supposed to take the Sat? Im a freshman in highschool and trying to find out all of this info, and when do you take the ACT? And if I apply for early decision in my junior year will I have had taken the ACT and SAT tests yet, so I can tell the college my scores, and one more thing when do you take the psat and is it good to take the sat more than once. Please help me!!!

I know that honors classes carry a higher weighted credits, but I really do not understand the difference between college prep and the academic classes that high schools have? I see schools advertising college prep. What is the difference?

In my school, there is a multiple choice English language proficiency test which puts you in any of six levels-one is the lowest, six is the highest. It has 30 questions with 4 multiple-choice answers for each. If you get a score of '7' out of 30, you are placed in level two.
