A diesel eng, will provide more hp and toque than a gas. How long they last between overhauls is decided buy how cheaply the eng is made. But lb for lb a diesel has more power, and requires less fule, because the diesel burns a lot slower than gas dose thus the power stroke is longer.

Only diesel en gins are heavy duty whereas petrol engines can not be made for heavy duty work. There is actually no preference but is essential.

The heavier the vehicle, the more gas it needs. Diesel is made out of electricity and gas and it is also cheaper.

bcoz its very cheap and we prefer to use diesel instead of petrol. according 2 the heavy duty engine we prefer diesel................
