You have to get ready for some higher expectations when it comes to academics.
You will be expected to work more independently and follow all instructions with the utmost care.
Also, seeing girls with weird makeup on the first day is also great fun! ;)

Besides being with some of your old mates from the previous grade, you will have some new friends who will be also wondering what will be new at this level. Academically, work will be a little more advance and so you have to concentrate on all the lessons and get a good grasp of the concepts. Getting a good grasp on all the concepts at this level especially in Maths. is very important towards your long term future success in levels after that. You will have new teachers and have different field trips. So lots of exciting things to look forward too also.

It's pretty much the same thing as elementary school. Nothing drastically changes, becuase middle-schoolers are still considered children... how I miss those days. You're very lucky to be so young... T_T
Going into an upper class in high school (10th, 11th, 12th) will all be a slap in the face. Be concerned about that instead!
