Primary & Secondary Education - August 2006

if u had a rubbish history teacher like i have. So rubbish that she expects u to write 3 pieces of GCSEcoursework about the abolishment of apartheid in sounth africa with the questions titled so that you dont even understand what she wants u to write.

And to make things better she doesn't even talk about south africa or teach u ANYTHING about it and expects u to learn it by copying notes from long passages in text books u dont understand either or spending hours trying to find it out on the net.

THE FUSTRATION!!!
ive looked for ages for stuff about FW de Klerk and have found nothing useful and have got to the point where i want to punch my teacher in her stupid face for be so ******* usless!

If u know ANYYTHING about apartheid's abolishment or de Klerk please say and i will be forever in your dept.

How can I improve my handwirting?(handwriting is ugly! somewhat messy, i guess.But not big messy,my handwriting is just ugly and stuff. dunno how to explain)
I'm 14 going to 9th grade on aug 30th lol.
I USED to be left handed when I was 4,5,6 years old. But my parents made me switch to right(i dont know if that affected me in anyway).So now I'm right handed.I can't write with my left hand anymore lol.
Any tips?(i wil practice)

I have trouble concentrating in my science class because I'm looking at my really hot biology teacher the entire class period. I've never had any crushes on my teachers before. Any tips on how I can focus more on biology rather than the person teaching it =)

Okay, last year, I took regular Geography and it was way too easy. I made grades over 100 every six weeks! So, I thought I'd switch into an advanced class and to my surprise, taking World History as a Sophomore is considered a college class.

Our class schedule goes like this,
HMWK - Read a chapter out of our text book - VERY LONG, but still managable - haha!!!
CLASS - Take an extremely hard multiple choice quiz over the reading. Almost everyone fails the quizzes. I even practice on this website and I still to poorly and I'm an A, B+ student...

AFTER THE QUIZ - We get 2 more detailed maps to do and we have to define 50 words in a week and most of the words aren't in th book. We're supposed to write a paragraph for each word and connect it to what's in the book with examples...

My son is GATE and the GATE teacher is not the GATE teacher, what is more important, being in a class with other GATE kids or being with a teacher that might better deal with his emotional issues. Not to say the GATE teacher is better, just better suited. I am at a loss. Every parent wants their child to have all that is available to him/her. Not sure if the choice to be with best friend in the GATE class is a better choice. Opinions welcome.
