Just look in your own vocabulary. Any noun that refers to something that cannot be seen, heard, touched, or smelled is an abstract noun. For example: love, respect, hatred, cooperation, excitement, happiness, joy, sadness, uncertainty, brotherhood, attraction.

I'm not familiar with that term in regard to nouns. Could you be talking about subjunctive moods? At any rate try Webster's 21st Century Guide to Speech, Style and Grammar. If it is not in there it doesn't exist in the English language.
