Well I got a 1450 (out of 2400) for a total on the newest SAT.

I do really well on quizs at school (average of about 94%).

But i bomb standarized tests. WHY?!?!?!?

i'm concidering on retaking the SAT. Any advice for a moderately slow worker?

I am a 9th grader living in the state of Tennessee, and my Advanced World History is terrible. She is very unorganized. I have been wainting for 7 weeks to take a quiz that I missed when I was on an excused absence from the principal. I have video on my cell phone of there being books, pens, pencils, etc. being throwm and other students getting kicked the bad part is this is going on while she is IN THE ROOM. Our classes is an hour and a half she may only teach for maybe 35 minutes if we are lucky, because the class will get out of hand. She doesn't give detenions because she doesn't want to stay afterschool. She has also NEVER wrote anyone up. Probably, only four other students and myself are actually trying to learn, BUT I AM BASICALLY BEING DENIED THAT. What can I do? Is she breaking the No Child Left Behind Act? PLEASE HELP :-)

class at 10-11am
lunch/study 11-1
class 1-2pm
coach jv lacrosse team from 3-5
eat dinner
study at home bed at 10:00 some days
most day i go to the library from 7:00pm-11:00 pm and get to bed at 12:00

Basically, I crapped my way through high school, but I still know a bit of Algebra to get by. I'm planning on going into the air force next year and want to do good on my entrance exam (ASVAB). So I want to take some basic classes in various subjects such as electronics, mechanics, physics in order to increase my knowledge in various important subjects before I take the Air Force ASVAB. One class that I want to take next semester is Applied Physics, but there is a prerequisite, Intermediate Algebra, which I haven't yet taken. I would like to know if there is any way I can take this class (Applied Physics) without taking the prerequisite (intermediate Algebra)? I have a feeling that I can take the physics class, but it just won't count towards my college credits. If this is the case, my question then becomes, if I decide to take Applied Physics before taking the Intermediate Algebra Prereq, can I obtain the credits for the physics class once I take the Prereq at a later date?

Abby looked at the window and sighed. She picked up her sidekick and got online. DING! Her IM buzzed. She ignored it and placed her sidekick on the small table next to her bed. "ABBY!!! Kylee asked, giving her a small grin. "Yeah, sure" Abby replied, looking puzzled. Abby and Kylee pushed open the swinging door to their kitchen and Kylee immediately started asking questions. "Is he your BF? Is he your friend? Are you gonna go out with him?" Kylee asked, her eyes shining with curiosity. "Um...I don't know yet. We could, I guess. But I guess I gotta see what happens" Abby replied, smirking at her older sib.

I have to do a linguistic experiment and am in need of some topics, everything I thought of is already taken. Any ideas would help... some examples are: (the syntactic structure of IM's, Characteristics of spoken English when students are talking with teachers, Effect of age diff on turn taking, Avg. Sentence length lectures, pausing during reading in unison, diff in how men and woman place orders -may I have? vs. Give me-)
