My school is scheduled to take the NAEP test, which the nation uses to rank schools all over and order their states accordingly. Some of the kids in my class said that they just weren't going to take it, which would result in a zero for them. They are sharp kids, but they lack effort.

Do you think that the educational problems in Mississippi are caused by the teachers or the students themselves?

I mean, How do they send the letters? Do they have their own planes/buses? Do they use commercial airlines?

What happens when you forward your mail? Do they check letter by letter against the database to see wich ones need to be fwd?

I alwas been curious about this.

I am just so sick of high school. All people there care about is looks. I get made fun of a lot at my school and I'm so sick of it, but no matter how much I put up a tough front, I can never seem to stick up for myself. Does anyone have some advice to help me get through this time? I hate school so much because of this. I'm just really insecure.

I've tried so hard, but it doesn't seem to matter. I'm failing 4 out of 6 classes so far this quarter, and the other 2 are Cs. It seems like I just don't have enough time. Does/did this ever happen to you? Should I quit one of my jobs? I work 3:30 to 7:00 on Monday, Wednesday, and every other Friday. I also work from 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturday and Sunday.

i want a theme.....should i have it silver and hot pink
black and white

black and silver....etc.....i want to pick a color(s) for my balloons, invitations, etc.......
however, i dont want it all girly......its going to be like a all girl hang out...but still cute..lol........we dont have it that much....now its just girls and guys at all parties my friends and i go to and plan.........

i want to know if u have any ideas on themes, games to play, or what t what i should give them after the party, and fun stuff we can all do...that they'll still like, and still have fun .....

so plzzz give me some ideas, i already looked on some sites, but they're not all that much of a help.....

I know the question could sound stupid but I'm only 15 give me a break please. I kind of grew up poor and I try really hard to get smarter and stuff cause I don't want to live in the ghetto like my friends do. They're content living that way but I want to do something different with my life. It's just that I try so hard in school and the teachers just..I go to a decent school now and it's hard for me to understand some things. I want to pursue a medical career as an Anesthesiologist in Japan or India. I currently live in the United States and just speak english fluently. Some people have made fun of me and said that I'll probably end up in a community college at the most or drop out like the rest of my friends and it's not fair. I also heard about something known as MBBS(Master in Biology and Bachelor in Sugery). The thing is though I am not sure I am smart enough to do so. I just got the lowest score in my class on a big test!!! This has never happened to me before! How do I get over this I feel so depressed. Classmates tell me they didnt do so well but I know they beat me!!!! :(

Im writing an essay on animal with the thesis

"In society individuals are not treated equally in terms of the labor they must do, their freedom, and how they are treated".
( its teacher given so cant change anything besides the 3 prongs )

I need to know if this intro paragrph would work out so if you can read it and tell me anything thats wrong or would sound better changed. Thanks in advance for the help!

Heres the intro:

In the World today, most people do not consider themselves equal to anyone else. The truth is, nobody is equal to anyone else because everyone has some kind of skill or possession that sets them apart from everyone else. Their possessions lead them to think that they are better then others so they tend to treat them differently. Therefore, in society individuals are not treated equally in terms of the labor they must do, their freedom, and how they are treated.

I'm looking for some general tips on everyday things. For example, I learned recently that learning a few vocabulary words before going to bed will help you remember the words better.

Another one:
For example, in memorizing words such as dog, fish, house, book, it is more effective to rehearse dog-fish-house-book-dog-fish-house-book, etc., than dog-dog-fish-fish-house-house-book-book.

They don't have to be about memorization.
