take a 2 minute break (go outside for a couple of minutes), then get back to it and finish it. There will be things in life that are boring, but you still have to do them. Think of this as a life lesson.

this is what i do when no one is at home:
when i do my homework and i cant concentrate, i count how many problems i have to do. i make sure everything else is really quiet. i work out the first problem. then i box in the answer. set down my penicl. stand up, and shout ''__more problems to go!''. then i'll do one or two more. and if they are just those easy questions that ask you to write yes or no or something like that, ill do the whole section. when im done ill put my homework away, and everything else i got out with it, and ill shout "im done with my homework."
when im working out harder problems, sometimes ill say the steps out loud like i was explaining it to someone.
of course, you probably wont wanna do this with other people around, as i literally shout it as loud as i can, sometimes twice. if you find yourself starring off into space in the middle of a problem, try shouting focus!

Make sure your in a quiet room; no television and no people whatsoever and try your best to focus. Get offline and stop surfing the internet as well.
If you're bored you can try listening to music. Don't listen to rap or hip-hop though cause that type of music is distracting.

You might try asking yourself how the information relates to you, your community, and the world. There are some really serious issues in this world that your generation is going to have to deal with. Boredom is one of them. You are way past Sesame Street. Now its a matter of self discipline.

No substitute. Faster you finish, faster you find something else to do.
