All my friends call me a chav, My husband left me when I was pregnant and now I live on a council estate. I always worked when I was with my husband but havent done since we split, mainly because of having a baby not finding suitable child care etc. Id love love love to go back to work and I am about to take my driving test so im not limited to iceland and spar, not that there is anything wrong with that. I think my friends have got a cheek what do you think am I now your stereo typical chav.

I am 20 yrs. old a single parent of one attending college full time and over 2 hours from my family...i am just wondering if it normal to feel very depressed and overwhelmed..i mean i have alot on my plate i really dont know anyone around just ppl from school...and noone in my class has kids so i cant really do stuff with them u know no babysitter..i was just wondering if anyone has gone thru this before and what they did to get out of the slump...i am just about to quit school and ruin an academic scholarship i really dont want to so i need advice...thanx

I have a new child who just started on Monday of this week. She is 15 months old, and cries all of the time. She won't eat her breakfast or lunch or even her snack. She still is taking a bottle, (?), and won't even take that. I know that she is teething, and give her Orajel as needed. She just cries. I spoke to the Parents today, and they told me that she was at another Day Care Center, and had the same problem. It took her three weeks before she got comfortable. Her ethnic background is the same as all of the other children. If I hold her, she cries. If I put her down, she cries. She is only happy, or rather, content is she is laying down in her crib. There are no toys or special things in her crib. She just lays there, sucks her thumb and cries. Can anyone please, please help me? She is disrupting the other children with her constant crying. Thank You so very much.
