If you're not already:
-Pay attention. Don't play around and chat with your buddy the whole time. Even if its boring, you've got to focus.
-Do your homework. Don't procrastinate; do it ASAP. Take breaks between working so you don't get frustraited.

When there's a test, study. I've found that http://flashcardmachine.com is GREAT for studying- you type out what you want on 'flash cards' and then you study them. I've raised my test grades by at least 15%, and since tests are a BIG part of your grade normally, you need to study.

If you're confused, ask the teacher for help. Ask them when they're available to help you out if you need guidance outside of school. If they can't fit you in their schedule, ask a smart kid to help you. Ask a sibling. Your parents. Whatever you do, make sure that you understand what your teacher is teaching.

If your teachers don't allow late work, and you procrastinated/forgot, still turn what you have/can do, because partial credit is better than no credit. If you can fill a couple questions or complete as much as you can, at least you won't have a 0.

recap:
pay attention, do homework, don't procrastinate, study for tests, ask for help when you need it.

Another tip: ask your teachers about extra credit opportunities. and do it. if you're taking a test and it has extra credit at the end but you're not sure if you have the right answer, guess. it can't hurt you. try it. extra credit is an AWESOME way to raise your grade.

You can organize well by having a folder for each class, and title your notes and homework well so you can find them easier when you have to study for a test.
For homework tips try to find a nice quiet place with no distractions or anything.
For test tips pay good attention to the teacher, take some titled and bulleted notes, and see if your teacher will give you a study guide to look off of.

Dont procrastinate! Start all assignments soon after you get them. Find a quiet place to study, like an empty room or a library where there are no distractions. Dont study with your phone next to you, it's too tempting. Make to-do lists for everything. It'll make you feel good to be able to cross things off as you finish them.

As far as tests, read all the material in advance. Highlight, and also write notes in your own words on another sheet of paper. Review what you've highlighted and written down the night before the test, and the day of your test to reinforce it all.

Good luck!

General studying: Study in groups; it always helps. Read books that are a couple of reading levels higher than you. It'll improve your diction as well as your general intelligence.

Tests: Don't use rote learning(memorization). You don't retain knowledge doing that, but forget it right after the test. Isn't the point of learning to LEARN, not just know something temporarily?

Organizational tips: Sorry, can't help you there. I was a total mess in school.

Pay close attention in class. Read, then reread the assignment. Ask questions if you don't understand. Many teachers give tutoring before or after school. Also, many school offer tutoring by people other than the teacher. This works well in situations where the teacher just doesn't seem to be getting the information across in the way you can understand it. Ask you councilor for help also.

Just do your homework and pay attention in class you don't have to study for 5 hours each day. 2 hours a day is the MOST you should need. Just don't wait for the last second.

If its the best you can do then why do you think you can do better?

Don't try to cramm all the info for tests in one night. Study a little bit each night. Do your homework before you do anything else, so then you give yourself enough time. Don't try to study for tests or do homework when you are tired, your mind is elswhere and you won't remember what you did.

you can get your grades up in school by studying really hard but not to hard that you hurt yourself. Study for about 15 minuted then take a break and relax. Come back and study for another 15 minuted. Do that daily and it will surely help you.

Make sure you do your homework and pay attention when you are going over it in class. If you work best when it is noisy, put on some music, or try lying on your bed while it is quiet to do it. Make sure you pay attention in class. Even if you dont take notes or anything, make sure you pay attention and ask questions. Don;t procrastinate on your projects.

Get a computer and home school. It raises your grades and you actually learn something. In school it is all about the boys, or Girls. or sports or the latest dance class. Get a good job then think about boys.
